FOOD AND TRAVEL

Many of our guests find the one minute walk from their cottage to the pub, perhaps twice a day, sufficient exercise for the duration of their stay!

However, we are surrounded by beautiful countryside to explore. There are a huge number of walks from gentle strolls to serious hiking. The Crayke Estate Walk or the Millennium Walk, takes approximately one hour and starts from The Durham Ox car park. A detailed map of this walk is available. Ordnance survey maps of the area are also available to borrow or for additional information visit:
