We embrace the principle of good food in relaxed surroundings and have always endeavoured to use the freshest and best of ingredients and buy locally wherever possible. Our menu is particularly celebrated locally for our Crayke game, fresh fish and seafood dishes.

Our A La Carte Menu (download PDF menu) changes regularly to incorporate seasonal varieties. The menu is complemented by a range of 'black board' specials (download sample PDF menu).

Sundays provide a much talked about Sunday Lunch (download sample PDF menu); the traditional Rib of Yorkshire Beef and Yorkshire puddings, as well as fresh fish and other dishes, are complemented by delicious desserts. Menu changes weekly. Booking advisable.

Lunch: Monday to Saturday 12-2.30pm, Sunday 12-3pm
Dinner: Monday to Friday 6-9.30pm, Saturday 6-10pm, Sunday 6-8.30pm

The cellars provide real ales, as well as an eclectic wine list ranging from a large selection of house wines, from £13.95 a bottle, to prize vintages at around £250 per bottle (download PDF wine list).
